Fire at Pollo Loco in Apodaca

On March 16, two branches of the Pollo Loco restaurant in Apodaca, Nuevo León, suffered a fire. Emergency services managed to control the flames with no injuries reported.

On Sunday, March 16 in Nuevo León, an emergency report alerted about a fire in two branches of the Pollo Loco restaurant in the municipality of Apodaca. Journalist César Cepeda shared a video showing the establishments engulfed in flames: one located on Miguel Alemán Highway and the other on Concordia Avenue in the Metroplex area.

According to reports, around 5:30 AM, a column of smoke was observed coming from the restaurant situated at the intersection of Miguel Alemán Avenue and Millimex Avenue. Emergency teams worked for almost an hour to control the fire and prevent it from spreading to the gas pipes and a nearby gas station.

Despite the efforts, the building sustained 70% damage, but fortunately, no people were injured. So far, there has been no information provided about the fire at the second branch. Rescue teams, including Nuevo León Firefighters and Apodaca Civil Protection, arrived at the scene to extinguish the flames and contain the situation.
