The Indian company JMC Paper Mill has invested 40 million dollars in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, to establish its first factory in Mexico. JMC Paper Mill specializes in the paper industry and has major clients such as Walmart and S-mart. The company plans to make additional investments in the next five years.

Rajni Patel, president of Balaji JMC Paper Mill, stated: "Our goal is to build a legacy based on innovation, sustainability, and shared progress. We are committed to Ciudad Juárez and its families."

According to government authorities in Chihuahua, the factory has created around 1,200 jobs, both direct and indirect. The state government mentioned that this project represents an international economic collaboration with a significant impact on regional development.

In addition, it is expected that in the next five years the company will make additional investments, which will lead to the creation of an additional 1,000 direct jobs and indirectly benefit more than 5,000 families in the region.
