A new case of gender violence shocked the State of Mexico. According to initial reports, a woman was physically assaulted by her partner in Coyotepec. The complainant, identified as Gloria, shared details of the brutal beating that the victim received, which left her unconscious and with several injuries to her face.
Reporter Carlos Jiménez spread the news and shared videos showing how the aggressor violently attacked the young woman. This situation generated outrage on social media, where several users expressed their concern for the victim and their frustration at the lack of action from the authorities.
It is presumed that the aggressor was released, which caused even more outrage among the population. Witnesses of the incident reported that the man brutally beat the victim until she was unconscious and that, when confronted, he begged not to be reported to his mother.
Despite all the mentioned facts, the aggressor tried to minimize his actions and asked not to be accused to his mom. Neighbors in the area came to the victim's aid upon hearing the screams and blows, once again highlighting the importance of community intervention in cases of gender violence.
