Model Aleska Génesis expressed her relief after being released on the night of Tuesday, March 11, after being linked to a trial for robbery in a gang and spending the night in the Santa Martha women's prison. In a statement, Aleska mentioned that the process left deep marks on her and that, for the moment, she will not make any statements regarding it, but she assured that the truth will come to light.
In the first photographs published after her release, she was seen leaving the courts of the Cuauhtémoc borough, surrounded by media and accompanied by bodyguards, without identifying any family member or close person at that moment. This is the second time that the Attorney General's Office of Mexico City has detained her and then released her under certain legal conditions.
Aleska Génesis thanked her supporters for the support given and mentioned on her social media that she experienced an irregular situation where her rights were unjustly violated. In her statement, she expressed that she needs time to heal, reconnect with herself, and process what happened, as there are battles that are fought with time, truth, and justice, more than with words.
