In the early morning of this Tuesday, federal forces dismantled a clandestine video surveillance center in the Las Quintas neighborhood, located in the municipality of Culiacán, Sinaloa. During the operation carried out at a property on El Dorado Avenue, elements of the Army, the National Guard, and state police detained two individuals.
In response to a report about a confrontation between criminal groups in southern Culiacán, the security forces carried out the confiscation. At the property where the illegal video surveillance center was located, weapons were seized, and a network of security cameras distributed in various parts of the city was discovered.
Regarding the report of the confrontations, no injured or deceased individuals were reported. However, investigations were expanded to nearby neighborhoods such as La Campiña, El Barrio, Miguel Hidalgo, and Villa Real. Currently, both federal and state authorities are securing the area to carry out the necessary proceedings.
