Three women—a mother and her daughters—who were abducted in the municipality of Cuyoaco, were found dead in an advanced state of decomposition in the municipality of Ixtacamxtitlan early Monday morning, on the border with Tlaxcala. The incident occurred specifically in the community of Cristalaco, belonging to the aforementioned municipality, where the bodies of the three women were located. According to initial investigations, the mother and her two daughters were abducted on March 4th in Cuyoaco, after which the Alba Protocol was activated, and search bulletins were issued for Félix Bentura Martínez, 42, and his daughters, Yeraldin Cuéllar Bentura, 9, and Johana María Cuéllar Bentura, 20. Official reports include statements from the husband and father of the victims, who indicated that on March 4th, an armed commando entered his home, located in the town of Guadalupe Victoria in Cuyoaco, and abducted the victims and a one-year-old boy. The child was found safe and sound hours later, abandoned on a dirt road in the region, but no further news was received about the whereabouts of the three women, nor was any ransom demanded, so the motive for the kidnapping was ruled out. The bodies were found on land located next to the Camino a la Caldera road in Cristalaco, after which authorities from both Puebla and Altzayanca, Tlaxcala, were notified, as the location was on the border. Due to the condition of the bodies, it was not possible to determine what type of injuries caused their death; however, the results of the autopsy and the investigations of the Puebla State Attorney General's Office are awaited to clarify this triple femicide.
