Grupo Firme Concert Uncertainty in Durango

Grupo Firme has had a complicated week. The band led by Eduin Caz announced this weekend that they will have a performance at the Francisco Zarco Stadium, but the venue's management warned that they did not authorize the event. The uncertainty about whether the concert will take place adds to the controversy surrounding the cancellation of the show they had scheduled at the Mazatlán Carnival, due to a death threat on a narcomanta in Tijuana, Baja California.

After Eduin Caz announced on social media that Grupo Firme will perform on June 7 at the Alacranes Club in Durango, the venue's management denied having granted permission. "The club's administration, which has the facilities on loan, has not received any formal request for the use of the stadium for this event," they stated via Instagram. They also affirmed that any official information regarding the use of the Francisco Zarco Stadium will be communicated only through the club's official channels.

Amid this controversy, the question arises as to whether Grupo Firme will also cancel their performance in Durango.
