He pointed out the simplification and standardization of procedures and regulatory improvements in the Metropolitan Area of Guadalajara (AMG), as well as the relaunch of the Jalisco Fund for Business Promotion (Fojal). In his words: “We are about to present the new platform and the relaunch of what you know as Fojal, to be able to have guarantee schemes for companies at the state level and expand the sectors in which we are participating.”

For her part, Tapatía entrepreneur Marina García, President of the CCME, thanked the Government of Jalisco for its willingness to work together and promote gender equality and economic development. She stated: “This event is a testament to that word kept and reaffirms the government’s commitment to economic and social development, but even more its interest in the growth of women in the business realm.” García highlighted that today approximately 52% of the population in Mexico are women, of which four out of ten are economically active and at least 1.6 million micro, small, and medium enterprises (MiPYMES) are led by women.
