Choosing a university is a crucial moment in the lives of young people and their families, marking the beginning of their professional development. To facilitate this significant transition to maturity, the Autonomous University of Guadalajara (UAG) organized its Open House 2025 program, an immersive day that allows high school students and their parents to get a close-up look at the institution's educational offerings and services.

For the most recent edition of the event, UAG developed a series of dynamics focused on community and detailed information for future students. With the participation of executives and academics, UAG held a series of activities to show attendees its educational offerings, workshops, and the admissions process.

One of the central points of the Open House was the participation of the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and Health Sciences, Dr. Alfonso Petersen Farah. In his speech, the Vice-Rector invited parents to actively motivate and support their children's study decisions. "Because in the end, the path of life will allow them to make decisions and constant updates that will prepare them for the different challenges. But what they like is important," said Dr. Petersen.

Following the executives' remarks, a question-and-answer session was held about the admissions process and available scholarships. The event concluded with a prize draw, food tasting, and a talk with the directors of the various academic programs.
