The Government of Guadalajara announced that a new edition of the “Bien de Noche” festival will take place on April 4th in the Historic Center of Guadalajara, as part of its monthly programming. However, it also contemplates the participation of complete families, in an environment designed for collective enjoyment in public spaces. “April is the month of children, and in Guadalajara we celebrate it in a big way,” they shared. Activities for children in the Historic Center According to the authorities, this edition of “Bien de Noche” will be focused on creating experiences for children, although all the planned activities have not yet been detailed. It should be noted that, as shared by the authorities, these types of events seek to promote the appropriation of public space, as well as to encourage family coexistence and access to culture. Similarly, the participation of various sectors that contribute to enriching the recreational offer in the first square of the city is expected. Pet day and free services On the other hand, as part of the program, the installation of an anti-rabies vaccination module was announced, as well as the presence of the Animal Welfare team, which will offer a basic training workshop for dogs. These activities will be carried out on Juan Álvarez Street and Paseo Alcalde, next to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Guadalupe. The vaccination schedule will be from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM, while the positive reinforcement training workshop will take place from 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM. However, the authorities specified that the participating pets must be over five months old, and must appear with a leash and harness, as part of the safety measures. The Guadalajara authorities have highlighted that these nighttime events seek to enliven nightlife in the Historic Center, offering accessible leisure alternatives for the public. On this occasion, the event will be dedicated to children, within the framework of the April celebrations. The activities will take place from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM, with a cultural, artistic and recreational offer aimed mainly at children. The combination of cultural activities with services such as animal vaccination allows the program's scope to be expanded. In the same way, they have reinforced the message of responsible pet care and the importance of keeping them vaccinated, especially in crowded places.
