Dreamfields Festival Brings Electronic Music to Guadalajara

The Dreamfields festival in Guadalajara thrilled nearly 21,000 people with five years of electronic music. This event featured several internationally recognized DJs, such as Infected Mushroom and Nicky Romero, who took over the main stage with styles like psytrance and house, respectively.

One of the highlights of the festival was the absence of Paul Van Dyk due to overbooking issues with his flight. Despite this, fans of his '90s style will have the opportunity to hear him in Guadalajara next year, as the organizers committed to schedule him for the 2025 edition.

In light of this situation, Mexican D-sides took his place on the main stage and offered a show that combined Latin, dance, and trance mixes. Other artists, such as Nico Moreno and Mathame, also delighted the audience with their powerful sounds on different stages of the festival.

Additionally, Dreamfields featured female talent such as Jenny Anaya and Karina Rosse, who showcased their skills on the turntable at the Nuclear Reactor stage. The musical diversity was another highlight, as styles such as tumbados corridos, reggaeton, and techno were mixed throughout the event.

The fervor for hardstyle was evident on the Asfixia stage, where a dark and underground atmosphere was created that attracted many attendees. In summary, Dreamfields was a festival that managed to meet the expectations of electronic music lovers in Guadalajara.
