After the case of Máximo Bravo Leal was revealed in the last months of 2024, an adolescent who reported being sexually abused by his own mother, the academic Leticia Leal Moya, the young man reappeared to continue raising his voice in search of justice. In a recent video on his TikTok account, Máximo explained that he had been absent due to health issues and mentioned that the doctor advised him to avoid stressful situations, although his mother's presence does not help in this regard.
In his statements, Máximo revealed that a federal judge issued a ruling allowing him to live with his father, Professor Nauhcatzin Bravo Aguilar. He expressed his gratitude to the judge for this decision that brings him some peace. However, he pointed out that his mother continues to try to take him back to the place where he suffered the abuse, without providing further details about it.
Regarding the general rector of the University of Guadalajara, Ricardo Villanueva, Máximo mentioned that he has not spoken out against child abuse. For this reason, he called on those who know his case to intervene and convey the message that child abuse cannot go unpunished.
In his final message, Máximo assured that he will continue fighting and recovering, emphasizing that he will not sit idly by regarding this situation. His determination is clear: "This cannot be left like this." Despite the challenges, the young man is committed to maintaining his fight against the impunity of child abuse.
