A devastating fire in the Álamo Industrial area of Guadalajara has resulted in four fatalities, following multiple explosions at an oil and aerosol factory. Authorities are investigating the incident and have identified two victims. Search operations for another missing worker are ongoing.

The fire at the Álamo Industrial in the Guadalajara Metropolitan Area (AMG), which resulted in several explosions at an oil and aerosol factory, has left a total of four people dead. The Directorate of Blood Facts and First Aid of the Deputy Prosecutor's Office in Specialized Investigation in Social Coordination has confirmed the number, highlighting the recent death of a man who was hospitalized at the Occident Medical Center after suffering severe burns on April 30.

The investigation is ongoing to clarify the causes of the incident and determine responsibilities. Of the 14 people who were initially receiving medical attention, six have been discharged, including three women and three men. Meanwhile, the two people who were found charred after the fire at the chemical factory in the Álamo Industrial neighborhood have been identified.

José de Jesús García López, 35 years old, who was a storekeeper at the factory, and Gloria Sánchez, 56 years old, a general helper at the aerosol factory, have been identified after conducting the necessary genetic analyses on the two bodies and their respective families.

Authorities continue the search for Jorge Octavio Rivera Polanco, 32 years old, a forklift operator at the same chemical factory. The search for this third person is ongoing in the field with personnel and experts specialized in forensic matters due to the level of charring found at the fire site.
