A 14-year-old girl was rescued by specialized personnel after becoming trapped between the tires of a truck in Guadalajara. The city's Red Cross reported that three affected individuals were taken to their facilities. Among the injured are an 18-year-old woman with a fracture in her left leg, the girl who got caught between the tires and the pavement, and a 48-year-old woman with a cervical sprain and a fracture in her left kneecap.

Videos circulating on social media show how a suspected thief of the truck entered the pedestrian area in front of the Guadalajara Cathedral without stopping amidst the crowd present at the scene. The municipal mayor, VerĂ³nica Delgadillo, verified that only two people remain under hospital observation after the incident, which left at least 16 injured, according to preliminary reports.

On Saturday afternoon, around 6:30 PM, a truck invaded the pedestrian area of Paseo Alcalde in Guadalajara and ran over a group of people in front of the local cathedral. It is known that the perpetrator, a 35-year-old man, had stolen the vehicle minutes earlier in the vicinity of Mercado Corona. During his escape, he ran over several people and a motorcyclist, continuing his route to Plaza Guadalajara, where he crashed into a second group of people participating in a pro-life demonstration.

Witnesses detained the individual, who was handed over to local authorities. The Guadalajara police reported that 16 people were injured and that three vehicles suffered damage during the incident.
