Restructuring at the Guadalajara Sports Club

The Deportivo Guadalajara Club is undergoing a restructuring process after the conclusion of the Spanish project initiated with the arrival of Fernando Hierro. This has led to the dismissal of executives Juan Carlos Martínez Castrejón, Sergio Pérez Alonso, and Fran Pérez, which in turn resulted in the departure of Óscar García Junyent, who left the bench after managing just 11 matches with Chivas.

The abrupt exit of the Spanish delegation has surprised many, given that Amaury Vergara, the team's owner, had expressed his confidence in them despite Fernando Hierro's resignation. However, an internal investigation completely changed Vergara's perspective upon discovering possible irregularities.

According to journalist Rubén Rodríguez from Fox Sports, Amaury Vergara initiated an internal investigation at the club upon suspecting the signings of young Mexican-Americans. It was confirmed that behind these dual-nationality players was a single agency, Activos Group. The suspicions increased when it was discovered that the purchases of these players were excessively costly.

Rubén Rodríguez pointed out that Fernando Hierro facilitated the arrival of this agency to the team with the signing of Óscar Whalley. The agency went so far as to attempt to persuade young Chivas players to change their representatives, which led Amaury Vergara to terminate their relationship with them.
