In a recent extraordinary session of the Guadalajara City Council, two new councilors were added to the Public Finance and Municipal Heritage Commission, bringing the total number of members in this commission to seven. Karla Andrea Leonardo Torres from Movimiento Ciudadano and Mariana Fernández Ramírez from Morena were the two appointed with 18 votes in favor.

The Public Finance and Municipal Heritage Commission is composed as follows: Ana Isabel Robles Jiménez as President, and as Members Salvador de la Cruz Rodríguez Reyes, Mario Hugo Castellanos Ibarra, Juan Alberto Salinas Macías, Diana Araceli González Martínez, Karla Andrea Leonardo Torres, and Mariana Fernández Ramírez.

This decision was made to cover the absences of the president that may arise due to official commitments or force majeure, in compliance with the provisions established in the Guadalajara Municipal Government Code and the Law of Government and Public Administration of the State of Jalisco. Additionally, Cuán Ramírez may replace the president in absences shorter than 72 hours and for a maximum of two months.

In the same session, the councilors unanimously appointed Leticia Fabiola Cuán Ramírez, coordinator of the Movimiento Ciudadano faction, as the official substitute for the first president Verónica Delgadillo. This election is mandatory according to current regulations for cases where the president cannot attend sessions due to urgent matters requiring her presence outside the City Council.

In addition to these changes, modifications were approved in the Edilicia Commission of Public Finance and Municipal Heritage, increasing the number of members of this commission to ensure its proper functioning.
