In the courts of Puente Grande, Jalisco, the initial hearing of Sergio Arturo "N", 33 years old, concluded. He is accused of running over 16 pro-life protesters in the atrium of the Cathedral of Guadalajara. The judge linked him to the process for aggravated robbery, injuries, and damage to property, granting him justified preventive detention for the duration of the judicial process, in addition to four months for supplementary investigation.

The Jalisco State Prosecutor's Office, through the Vehicle Theft Investigation Unit, managed to establish the possible involvement of Sergio Arturo in the theft of a truck in downtown Guadalajara, as well as in the running over of 16 people outside the Cathedral. The Public Ministry agent requested precautionary measures of justified preventive detention to safeguard the rights of the victims, which were granted during the process.

According to the investigation file, Sergio Arturo violently stripped a woman of her GMC Acadia truck in downtown Guadalajara, fleeing the scene and running over people on the Fray Antonio Alcalde walkway. During his escape, he crashed into another vehicle and caused damage. He was detained by protesters and subsequently by the municipal police.

The organizers of the pro-life march during which the events occurred, the National Front for the Family, reported that all 16 injured have been discharged.
