The governor of the state of Jalisco, Pablo Lemus, and legendary Brazilian footballer Roberto Carlos met with children participating in an educational football program. The event took place in Guadalajara and aimed to support the sports education of youth and strengthen values such as discipline and teamwork.

The governor of Jalisco, Pablo Lemus, participated in a gathering with children who are part of the Educational Football Program, accompanied by the Brazilian footballer and world champion, Roberto Carlos. The activity was developed as part of a strategy to boost sports training in the entity. Similarly, the meeting brought together state authorities and minor beneficiaries of the program, in a context where it seeks to strengthen values such as discipline, teamwork, and comprehensive development through sports. During his speech, the state official welcomed the former player and highlighted the importance of sports as a tool for social training. He emphasized that Jalisco has maintained outstanding results at a national level, with 24 consecutive years as champion of the National Olympics and 20 years in the National Paralympics. “For us, sports is about forming great human beings; that's why we agree with the Real Madrid Foundation, because what we are looking for, hopefully, is to have football players from all over the world. It is the formation of those human beings through sports.” Likewise, he recalled that Roberto Carlos had already visited Guadalajara in 2001 during a friendly match between Mexico and Brazil, and highlighted his sporting and personal career.
