Nuevo León Governor Begins Japan Tour Ahead of World Cup

Governor Samuel García began his tour of Japan by visiting football stadiums to assess the logistics and invite the Japanese team to the state, where they will play a World Cup match on June 20 in Guadalupe. "We are looking at the logistics, fortunately we have a world-class stadium, the one of Rayados, and we already have everything ready to host the 1000th game," the state governor said in a statement. Additionally, he also visited the Ajinomoto Stadium, in the city of Yokohama, where he was invited by the president of Tokyo FC, Shigeya Kawagishi. In parallel, the Urban Development Trust (FIDEURB) has intensified its cleaning, maintenance, and rehabilitation work in public spaces in the metropolitan area. Taking advantage of the Easter vacation period, the brigades are working strategically on green corridors in the municipality of Guadalupe, as well as on important arteries such as Constitución, Eloy Cavazos, Las Américas, Cristóbal Colón, and Félix U. Gómez. These actions also extend to emblematic spaces like Libertad Park, Ciudadano Park, and the Plaza de los Desaparecidos, contributing to improving the urban image of the state. Under the leadership of its head, María Guadalupe López Marchán, the state agency maintains permanent work focused on the beautification of streets and avenues, carrying out tasks such as debris removal, painting, deep cleaning, and general maintenance. These efforts are part of a comprehensive strategy to position Nuevo León as a benchmark for order, cleanliness, and modernity, projecting a more vibrant, functional city, ready to present a clean Nuevo León before the World Cup.
