Puebla Reactivates International Flights to the US

The government of Puebla aims to reactivate international flights to the United States from the "Hermanos Serdán" airport in Huejotzingo. Among the priority routes are Los Angeles and New York, destinations that are considered economically attractive for the population, according to information from Governor Alejandro Armenta Mier during a morning press conference.

The governor revealed that he recently met with the president of Viva Aerobús to discuss the possibility of resuming these international flights and anticipated that he would also seek agreements with other airlines. Armenta Mier emphasized that this measure will boost the reactivation of the airport and strengthen the air capabilities of Puebla, especially toward Los Angeles and New York.

Currently, the Puebla airport offers domestic flights to destinations such as Cancún, Tijuana, Monterrey, Guadalajara, and a daily flight to Houston, Texas. With the addition of new international routes, it is expected to improve the state's connectivity and strengthen the flow of travelers between Puebla and the United States.

On another note, the governor announced that in the coming weeks he will carry out a tour to visit Puebla's representation offices in Los Angeles, New York, and New Jersey. The purpose of this visit is to strengthen the legal representation of Puebla migrants and manage the hiring of specialized lawyers in Anglo-Saxon law.

"The presence of Puebla is very important for us to support the president of the Republic. We will be convening in the first or second week of March to evaluate the progress in the rehabilitation of these spaces and the hiring of legal advisors for our migrant brothers," highlighted Armenta Mier.
