The Leon State Fair 2025 was successfully held for 27 days, under the direction of the Board chaired by David Novoa Toscano. During the event, various improvements were implemented, such as the installation of new ticket offices, breastfeeding rooms, a calm space, and family restrooms, with the aim of ensuring comfort and safety for attendees.
For the first time, the 'Inspira' project was incorporated, a space where 30,000 visitors could hear stories of overcoming from athletes, entrepreneurs, and influencers. This space was designated for the exhibition of handcrafted products, textiles, jewelry, and typical Mexican foods, becoming a key point for the trade of local products.
The fair generated an economic spillover of 9,058 million pesos and attracted a total of 6 million 700 thousand visitors, being considered the most important family fair in Mexico. The event included a wide variety of activities and attractions that took place from January 10 to February 5.
David Novoa Toscano highlighted that 32 percent of visitors were people from other states, representing a 10 percent increase compared to the previous year. The economic impact of the fair was reflected in a significant increase in transactions and the strengthening of commercial ties between producers, entrepreneurs, and local consumers.
The presence of 800 local exhibitors helped boost regional trade, generating sales exceeding 120 million pesos. Additionally, personalities like Checo Pérez and Serena Williams offered motivational talks during the event.
The Leon State Fair 2025 became a space for promoting Mexican culture, with the special participation of the state of Coahuila, which presented its cultural, gastronomic, and tourist offerings. The entertainment program featured internationally renowned artists such as Camila Cabello, Def Leppard, Sam Smith, Chayanne, Intocable, and Christian Nodal.
To ensure the safety of attendees, 800 personnel from the Secretariat of Security, Prevention, and Citizen Protection were deployed in coordination with state and federal forces. Novoa Toscano celebrated the results obtained in this edition, highlighting the positive impact on the local economy and the promotion of Mexican culture.
