María del Rosario 'N' was arrested in an operation in Magdalena, Jalisco, for her involvement in drug and arms trafficking. An arsenal and illicit substances have been seized.


Arrest of CJNG Operator in Magdalena

The Federal Court of the Western District of Texas filed charges against María del Rosario 'N', alleged operator of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG). The arrest took place in Magdalena, Jalisco, where a man linked to similar criminal activities was also arrested. During the operation, security forces seized a golden long weapon, ammunition, and drugs. The FBI in the United States was seeking the detainee for her alleged involvement in arms, drug, and human trafficking, money laundering, and distribution of methamphetamine and fentanyl.

According to Mexico's Secretary of Security and Citizen Protection, Omar García Harfuch, surveillance tasks were carried out at a residence in El Llano, Magdalena, to achieve the arrest. The information gathered during these activities enabled the issuance of a judicial order that allowed intervention of the property and execution of the arrests.
