In her statements, Sheinbaum expressed her firm stance against any form of external interference, ensuring that decisions in Mexico will be made by Mexican citizens. She emphasized that it is Mexicans who have the authority to determine the direction of the country, as a nation that fights for justice, democracy, and freedom. The president also referred to the recent conflict with the United States over the imposition of tariffs, questioning the logic behind measures that harm both parties. In this context, she reiterated Mexico's commitment to self-determination and the defense of its sovereign interests. In addition to her political statements, federal officials visited Mapimí with the aim of presenting social programs aimed at the region.
