The capital Mexico City stands out for its innovation in administrative simplification and construction permits, which is why efforts to continue working closely in this area are pursued. During the swearing-in of the new Board of Directors of the Mexican Chamber of the Construction Industry (CMIC), the importance of strengthening collaboration between the government and the private sector was reaffirmed.

The president of CMIC Mexico City, Ricardo González Lomelí, pointed out the organization's significant contribution to the local GDP and reaffirmed its commitment as an ally of the government in the pursuit of joint prosperity. The head of Government, Clara Brugada, announced a record investment in infrastructure and public works to promote development and employment in the city.

Investment in mobility will be prioritized, with a record budget allocation for the Metro and the construction of five new Cablebus lines. Brugada highlighted the strategic importance of the construction sector in economic growth, as well as in the creation of new infrastructures for water access and the implementation of public care services through the 100 Utopias in the city.

The head of Government emphasized CMIC's relevance at the national level, recognizing its significant contribution to the national GDP and its long history. Continuous collaboration between the government and the construction industry is presented as fundamental for the sustainable development of the city and the benefit of the population as a whole.
