Car Driving Restrictions Announced for Saturday in Mexico City

The Hoy No Circula program establishes measures applicable to vehicular traffic, with the aim of preventing, minimizing, and controlling pollutant emissions. In order to standardize and minimize the impact on the Megalopolis, Mexico City, and the State of Mexico, this measure was established to limit the circulation of private vehicles, regardless of the origin of the license plates. Different from the program used from Monday to Friday, cars that do not circulate will depend on both the hologram and the last digit of the license plate, divided into even (0-2-4-6-8) and odd (1-3-5-7-9). This Saturday, it will be the turn for vehicles with hologram 2 and license plates without a number. It is important to mention that vehicles with Hologram 1, even-numbered plates, on the second and fourth Saturday of the month, and out-of-state vehicles, which are subject to restrictions every Saturday, also do not circulate.
