The competition between the stock exchanges in Mexico intensifies with tariff adjustments. The Institutional Stock Exchange (BIVA) seeks to strengthen its competitive position with a new price table that makes its operations up to 30 percent more economical than those at the Mexican Stock Exchange (BMV). These adjustments are expected to have a negative impact on the group's revenues for 2025. All signs point to evolving price competition, and it remains to be seen whether BIVA can gain ground in this market.

Banamex celebrates 20 years since it launched a pioneering project in the Mexican financial sector: the Financial Education area. This initiative, which began with Manuel Medina Mora and is now led by Juan Luis Ordaz and supported by Manuel Romo, has been fundamental in how support is provided to clients. This proposal, which has the backing of INFOCDMX and the Government Innovation Agency of CDMX, aims to safeguard citizens' privacy regarding the use of their data in government services utilizing artificial intelligence. The initiative seeks to establish limits and filters to protect the information used by artificial intelligence in the city's public administration.
