Additionally, the low temperatures in Mexico City, due to the arrival of Cold Front 24, have worsened the situation. Metro users are advised to dress warmly and cover their nose and mouth to prevent respiratory diseases.
It is important to be patient when boarding a train, as delays of up to 20 minutes have been reported on some lines. Although the STC Metro has begun its operations, lines 3, 5, B, and A are experiencing delays today.
Regarding the inauguration ceremony of the elected president of the United States, Donald Trump, which will take place at the Capitol, Metro authorities have reported on the influx on various lines, as well as the waiting times to board a train.
The Metro lines showing high attendance are 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, A, and B, with a waiting time of seven minutes. On the other hand, lines 2, 4, 6, and 12 are reported with moderate attendance. This situation has caused annoyance among users, who express their dissatisfaction with the constant delays and unexpected stops of the trains.
