Carín León has been awarded Best Mexican Music Album at the Grammy Awards for his album ‘Boca Chueca, Vol.1’. The event took place on February 2, 2025, in Mexico City, celebrating the best in music globally.

The Grammy gala, which celebrates the best in music worldwide, took place last Sunday, February 2nd. In Mexico, the event can be enjoyed through Imagen Televisión on open signal, while TNT will broadcast the gala on cable and the Paramount platform will stream it. Due to the large number of awards presented, some categories are announced in advance, such as Best Mexican Music Album.

In the Best Mexican Music Album category, singer Carín León won with his album “Boca chueca vol.¡Arriba México y arriba Sonora!”. Michelle Maciel, DannyLux, and Grupo Frontera were also nominated in this category. Carín's win has generated controversy on social media, as some believe other artists had greater visibility. However, Carín León's fans have come to his defense.

It is worth noting that Carín also won a Latin Grammy last November. The televised Grammy gala will start at 6:00 PM Mexico City time.
