Changes in the Metrobus Boarding Area at AICM

The boarding area of the Metrobus at Terminal 2 of AICM has been modified. Users are advised to stay attentive to updates and take precautions.

Changes in the Metrobus Boarding Area at AICM

The Metrobús has informed about the modification of its boarding area at terminal 2 of the Mexico City International Airport (AICM). Now, users wishing to use this service must go to the intercity bus door of terminal 2 to board the Metrobús that will take them to the AICM.

In this new location, the Metrobús units leading to the airport are smaller and are identified with the word "AICM" on a lighted sign above the windshield. Users will pay 6 pesos upon entering the station, and the remaining 24 pesos will be charged inside the unit through a payment machine compatible with the Integrated Mobility card.

It is important to highlight that the Metrobús has not yet confirmed the presence of machines to recharge cards in the new boarding area of the AICM. For now, users can recharge their cards at the machine located in the Central Patio, where the old boarding area used to be.

This modification has raised questions among users about the permanence or temporality of this change. Despite this, since February 3, the Metrobús has maintained this modification and has indicated it as permanent in its service status.

Additionally, the Metrobús service to and from the AICM will continue to maintain its cost of 30 pesos at either terminal. For those departing from terminal 1, they must go to door 7, while those leaving from terminal 2 will find the new boarding area located at the intercity bus door.

In summary, the new Metrobús boarding area at the AICM is adjusted to terminal 2 and requires users to go to the intercity bus door to board the units that will take them to the airport. Despite initial doubts, the modification seems to be permanent, and the cost of the service remains at 30 pesos in both directions.
