
The Collective Transportation System (STC) Metro of Mexico City (CDMX) reported several delays on various lines on Friday, February 7, 2025. So far, Line 3 is the most affected. At Indios Verdes station, passenger congestion is recorded because trains do not leave on time from the depot, causing wait times of up to ten minutes at other stations towards Universidad.
Regarding the state of the Metro, Line 1 is functioning well, but wait times of five minutes are reported at best. Line 2 has a good flow of trains with no reported breakdowns at the moment, with Zócalo/Tenochtitlan station remaining open.
Line 3 is experiencing delays of more than ten minutes due to issues in train traffic. Users have reported the situation on social media, expressing their concern over the lack of information and the inconveniences this causes in their daily commutes.
On other lines, such as 4, 5, and 6, low user demand and stable service is reported, while Line 7 sees high passenger traffic at all stations due to the slow progress of the trains. Line 8 reports slight issues in train advancement, with a wait time of seven to ten minutes. Meanwhile, Line 9 shows high user demand, but the trains are operating normally despite the influx.
Line 12 stands out as one of the busiest, but there are no reports of breakdowns or failures in the system, while Line A records high demand in the direction of Pantitlán, with trains taking three to five minutes to pass through the stations. Users are urged to take precautions and stay alert for updates on the service provided by the STC Metro of CDMX.
