Congestion at CDMX Metro on February 24

Today, February 24, the Collective Transportation System (STC) of Mexico City informed about the situation in the 12 Metro lines. According to the report issued at 08:10 hours, maximum attendance was recorded in at least eight lines, causing access to be regulated in them.

In some lines like 3, 9, and A, users reported waiting times of up to 20 minutes, generating annoyance and frustration among passengers. This situation was due to the withdrawal of trains for inspection, which caused slow movement in those lines.

Despite the difficulties, Metro authorities assured that they managed to expedite circulation to improve service. Nonetheless, users are advised to take precautions, leave early, and consider other transportation alternatives to reach their destinations on this Monday.

It is important for users to stay informed about the progress of the trains, the state of the lines, and stations. Therefore, they are urged to plan their trips in advance and stay informed to avoid setbacks.
