High Demand on Mexico City's Metro Lines

Several lines of the Collective Transport System (STC) Metro of Mexico City (CDMX) are experiencing difficulties meeting passenger demand at various stations this Wednesday, February 26, 2025.

On Line 3 and Line A, users have had to wait more than ten minutes to board the train due to high passenger traffic. The units also exhibit a slow departure from the terminals, leading to overcrowding on these lines.

On Line 2 and Line 7, a similar situation is observed, as even though the STC is not operating at maximum capacity, the trains' progress is considerably slow according to user reports.

Regarding the status of the different lines of the Metro of CDMX this Wednesday, February 26:

- On Line 1, a slow progress of the units is recorded, with stops between stations and high passenger demand. - On Line 2, passenger congestion is reported at Hidalgo Station, with waiting times exceeding five minutes and stops between stations.

It is advisable to plan your departure in advance and consider alternative routes given the current situation on some of the metro lines.
