The Mexican Seismic Alert System (Sasmex) confirmed this Friday, at 1:39 PM, an earthquake whose magnitude has not yet been reported, which was felt in different areas of Mexico City. According to third-party reports, it is estimated to be 5.5 in magnitude.

The seismic movement did not activate the seismic alert, as the energy estimated in the first few seconds did not reach the required levels for activation. The earthquake was detected by a sensor located about 15 kilometers from Iguala, Guerrero.
