Mexico City is preparing to welcome the sixth edition of the Noche de Primavera festival on March 21 and 22. This event will feature the participation of 80 artists and music groups at a total of 12 venues, both in the Historic Center and for the first time on stages in the outskirts of the capital, aiming to ensure access to culture for all inhabitants, including those living in more remote areas.

The Noche de Primavera festival will transform the Zócalo into a celebration full of music, dance, and tradition. This time, the rhythm of cumbia and sonidera salsa will take center stage with the Third Great Dance of Sonideras and Sonideros scheduled for Saturday, March 22, starting at noon. The CDMX Culture Secretariat organizes this event that will bring together 12 selected sonideras and sonideros to ensure gender parity.

The Plaza de la Constitución will become an outdoor dance floor where thousands of attendees can enjoy the energy and festive atmosphere characteristic of sonidera culture.

As for the lineup of the Great Sonidero Dance, throughout the day, different representatives of the genre will make the heart of the city vibrate with their mixes and contagious rhythms. From Sonido Pequeño Puerto Rico to Sonido Black Cherry, the day promises to be vibrant and full of fun.

In addition to sonidero dancing, the festival will feature a special performance by Silverio, His Imperial Majesty, one of the most prominent representatives of Mexican electro-pop, who will add his irreverent mark to the celebration.
