The Road Orientation Center (OVIAL) of the Citizens' Security Secretariat (SSC) has announced some traffic alternatives for those traveling through the streets and boroughs of Mexico City today. Due to maintenance work on Line 1 of the Metro, detours are being implemented on Av.391, Villada, Nezahualcóyotl, State of Mexico, heading to Mexico City.
On Sunday, March 16, mobilizations and demonstrations are expected in Mexico City, so the Command, Control, Computing, Communications, and Citizen Contact Center of Mexico City (C5) has called on residents of the capital to take precautions.
Meanwhile, activists for animal and land liberation will hold an event called "Sticking", which will consist of sticking stickers and posters for the defense and liberation of animals. The call is for 11:00 at the "Chabacano" station of the Collective Transport Metro System.
Additionally, the Collective "Daughters of Cannabis" will hold the event "Street Rave 4:20" at the Memory and Tolerance Museum, where they will demand safe and free spaces for cannabis consumers, as well as respect for gender perspective. They will also continue their campaign to collect kibble and food for dogs in street situations. The event is scheduled for 12:00.
Mexicans with Ukraine will protest at Central Alameda Park at 11:00 to show their support for the Ukrainian people and provide information on the importance of territorial integrity and peace. Meanwhile, the Collective "Cannabis Consumers" will hold the event "World Expression Vol." in front of the Mother Monument to demand the legalization of cannabis and the decriminalization of its consumers.
