The registration process to enter high school in public institutions such as the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and the National Polytechnic Institute (IPN) began on Tuesday, March 18, 2025. This process is aimed at students interested in pursuing general high school, technological high school, and technical-professional high school education in the Metropolitan Area of the Valley of Mexico.
Applicants must register on the "My right to my place" portal between March 18 and April 15, 2025. Those who wish to take the entrance exam for UNAM or IPN must log in again to the website from May 19 to 22 to complete the process.
Regarding the procedure for the UNAM exam in 2025, applicants must pay the examination fee, attend the photo taking on the date and time indicated in Document A, take the exam online on June 13, 14, 15, 20, 21, and 22, 2025, and check the publication of results on August 19, 2025. Those who do not meet these requirements will not be able to take the exam.
For applicants opting for institutions without an admission exam, places will be assigned based on availability.
