On December 6th and 7th, the XXI Polanco Jazz Festival will take place.
On Saturday, December 6th, the Polanco Jazz All Stars + Voces Estelares ensemble will perform at the Ángela Peralta Theater, featuring guest vocalists Andrea Miller from the United States, Ilhem Khodja from France, and Karely Esparza from Mexico. The quartet of Osmany Paredes on piano will accompany them, with Yubel Téllez on double bass, Reynier Limonta on drums, and Rubén Perea on percussion.
On Sunday, December 7th, the program includes the Gabriel Hernández Quartet, the group from Xalapa, Veracruz, Sonex & Friends, who will present a proposal that incorporates the sound of the jarana, son jarocho, and jazz, as well as Luxemburgo Dock in Absolut with a neo-progressive jazz sound.

Pierre Lacocque, the leader, harmonica player, and composer of the Mississippi Heat band, will perform in Mexico City on Friday, December 5th, accompanied by singer and drummer Sheryl Youngblood. The heat of Mississippi will arrive at the Levu VIP forum, located at Dr. Lavista 190, colonia Doctores. At this venue, the new Delmark Records production, "Don't look back" by Mississippi Heat, will also be presented.
