Tree falls and paralyzes avenue in Mexico City

On the afternoon of Friday, March 6, a tree fell and paralyzed Avenida Patriotismo in the San Pedro de los Pinos neighborhood of the Benito Juárez mayor's office in Mexico City. The authorities explained that the tree pulled down aerial wiring and a public lighting pole. No one was injured in the incident. Personnel from the Secretariat of Comprehensive Risk Management and Civil Protection (SGIRPC) went to the scene to remove the tree and restore circulation on that road.
