This Saturday morning, users of the Collective Transport System (STC) Metro reported multiple failures and delays on Line 3, one of the most used in the capital, which generated annoyance among passengers who denounced long waiting times and trains stopped between stations. Through social media, several users pointed out that the trains remained stopped for up to five minutes per station, particularly in the direction of Indios Verdes, which significantly affected their transfers. At Mixcoac station, a person reported a burning smell, while on Line 9 a spill inside a car was reported. To this were added complaints about conditions inside the trains, such as excess air conditioning on Line 8 and lack of ventilation in other cars, which forced users to request the intervention of operational personnel. In all cases, the official Metro account indicated that the situations were channeled to the corresponding areas for their attention. Although some lines like Line A were reported without breakdowns, the day was marked by citizen dissatisfaction, mainly on Line 3, where delays and stops continue to be a constant for users. "Why are they taking 5 minutes per station?", questioned a user due to the lack of clear information. Constant delays on Line 3 Complaints were mainly concentrated on Line 3, where passengers agreed that the service was advancing slowly, despite there not being a high flow of people in some stations. In response, Metro CDMX stated that it was "expediting the circulation and exit of trains from the terminals", in addition to asking users to allow the doors to close freely and to descend before entering the cars. However, citizen reports continued throughout the morning, evidencing that the affectations persisted and complicated the mobility of hundreds of people. Other incidents: smells, ventilation, and spills In addition to the delays, users also alerted about other situations within the network.
