On Saturday, March 21, 2026, two incidents occurred in Mexico City that drew public attention. In the Roma neighborhood, Cuauhtémoc borough, a fire broke out in a seven-story building. The fire originated inside an apartment on the 7th floor at the corner of Querétaro and Jalapa streets. Firefighters rushed to the scene to extinguish the blaze and carry out evacuation efforts.
