EDC México 2027: Return to Mexico City and New Sustainability Initiatives

Following its largest edition to date in 2026, EDC México will return to Mexico City to celebrate its 13th edition, bringing fans from around together for three days of music, art, and community under the electric sky. For the first time, tickets will be sold through Front Gate Tickets and Ticketmaster, allowing Headliners to check and purchase in both currencies to facilitate their planning. Through its “Hagamos Composta” program, the organic waste generated during the event is transformed into compost, significantly reducing methane emissions. When will EDC 2027 take place? The Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) México by Insomniac will return from February 19 to 21, 2027, at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez. The presale for three-day passes in GA, GA+, and VIP categories begins on Thursday, March 26, with additional presales for fans and banks on March 24 and 25, respectively. Initial “Future Owl” prices start at 3,480 pesos plus fees (GA), 4,180 plus fees (Comfort Pass), and 6,960 pesos plus fees (Banamex PLUS), with availability also in US dollars. The 2026 edition featured the return of Hardwell to Mexico after more than eight years, as well as standout back-to-back sets from Adrián Mills B2B Cloudy, Ahmed Spins B2B LP Giobbi, Beltran B2B Maetrik AKA Maceo Plex, Mau P B2B The Martinez Brothers, and Michael Mayer B2B Rebolledo, alongside a wide array of Mexican and Latin American talent like 3BALLMTY, BOLO, Jessica Audiffred, RØZ, Sol Ortega, and Tom & Collins. EDC México continues to strengthen its commitment to sustainability through a comprehensive set of environmental initiatives, including a waste management system focused on reduction, separation, recycling, and diversion from landfills.
