A massive brawl broke out in Mexico City after police attempted to arrest a young man. The incident began in the area of the Universidad metro station, where officers spotted a young man urinating in public. The situation quickly escalated into a brawl involving other young people and a woman who tried to intervene. One of the companions pushed the police to prevent the arrest, while onlookers shouted, demanding the release of the detainee. Tension escalated to the point where Metro security reinforcements were called due to pressure from witnesses. Videos shared on social media show officers attempting to subdue the young man outside the Modal Transfer Center (CETRAM) Universidad. According to authorities, the situation was brought under control through dialogue. Two of those involved were released, but a 22-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman were handed over to a judge and later freed after paying a fine.
