At the beginning of the year, the first part of the third season of Jujutsu Kaisen captivated fans of the shonen genre with the continuation of Yuji Itadori's story and the members of the Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical College. Great battles—both physical and internal, moral dilemmas, resilience in the face of adversity, and overcoming not only entertained hundreds of followers but also motivated them.
A tribute to the anime Those who took it very seriously was the team at Kaito del Valle, a speakeasy located at Hamburgo 70B, Colonia Juárez, Cuauhtémoc Mayor's Office, CDMX. As part of their temporary menu, they created four cocktails and one mocktail inspired by Gege Akutami's manga, which will be available until April 20.
Through the combination of Mexican distillates and some Japanese classics like sake, infusions such as green tea, and ingredients that evoke the freshness of Japan — mango, tapioca, and peach — the team managed to capture the essence of the series in every sip. The result is a sensory journey that transports you to the battles in Shibuya, to the forests surrounding the academy of curses, and to the personalities of its protagonists, such as the unmistakable Satoru Gojo.
Those responsible for bringing this proposal to life were Paulina Maldonado, head bartender of the place; Cinthia Mina, bar manager, and Claudia Cabrera, founder and co-chair for Latin America of the Spirited Awards of Tales of the Cocktail 2026.
