Puerto Rican singer Luis Fonsi is returning to Mexico to present his new single 'Cambiaré' in collaboration with Colombian artist Feid. This work marks a turning point in his career, characterized by breaking out of the predictable and fusing genres. Known for his pop music, Fonsi teamed up with one of the leading voices in the urban scene to create a salsa with urban influences. 'I wanted to give it another color. Instead of calling a salsa artist, I called Feid, one of the most important voices in the urban genre. He did a great job,' shared the artist. This collaboration brought freshness to both the lyrics and the vocals. 'I knew that the verses he would write would be different from mine. Hearing him in a salsa is very refreshing,' Fonsi added. As part of his visit, the artist will lead a massive dance event on Thursday, April 9th, at 5:30 PM at the Glorieta de los Insurgentes in Mexico City. 'It's not a concert, it's an excuse to be close to the public. Social media brings us closer, but nothing can replace a hug, looking someone in the eye and saying 'thank you','' the singer emphasized. For Fonsi, the Mexican audience holds a special place. 'Mexico has a very important place in my heart. It's a chameleon that knows how to adapt. The energy of the Mexican public directly impacts my live performances. They live surrounded by culture and music, and that occupies a huge space within Latin music,' he noted. The artist also stressed that his creative path has always been guided by experimentation and intuition, without fear of making mistakes. 'It's a constant search for ideas, trial and error. I'm very happy to be here, sharing with the public, holding events with fans, and presenting this song called 'Cambiaré' with Feid, which kicks off my new musical project.'
