After a long wait, Mexico City is preparing to host one of the most important sporting events of the year: the Mexican Grand Prix. To facilitate the mobility of attendees to the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez, local authorities have presented a special plan.
This mobility plan includes the availability of special transportation in areas close to the venue during the three days of the event. Buses will operate continuous round trips between different strategic stations from 07:00 to 23:00 for ticket holders.
The remote transportation stations will be located at Estadio Azteca, Expo México Santa Fe, Plaza Carso, and the Auditorio Nacional. The final destination of the routes will be the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez, where three arrival points will be established.
At the conclusion of the event, it will be possible to return to these departure stations via remote transportation buses located on Eje 3 Sur Ańil, corner of Churubusco, from 5:30 to 19:00.
For those who prefer other means of transportation, there are options such as mobile applications with drop-off and pick-up zones at Gate 6 of the Palacio de los Deportes, as well as taxi stands with an initial fare of 13 pesos at Gate 15 of the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez.
Regarding public transportation, alternatives such as Line 9 of the Metro at the Velódromo, Ciudad Deportiva, and Puebla stations, Line 2 of the Metrobús at the Iztacalco and UPIICSA arrivals, and Line 2 of the Trolebús at various stations stand out.
It is important to mention that access to public transportation options will be paid with the Integrated Mobility Card and will cost 85 pesos for a single trip and 175 pesos for a round trip. Additionally, it is recommended to avoid using private vehicles, as there will be no parking at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez during the Mexican Grand Prix.
