Restricted circulation in Mexico City

This Thursday, October 24th, in Mexico City and the State of Mexico, vehicles with green stickers whose last plate digit is 1 or 2 are not allowed to circulate. The traffic regulations adjust to other programs, days, and schedules established in the Mexican capital.

For vehicles with plates ending in odd numbers (1, 3, 5, 7, 9), they will not circulate on the first and third Saturday of each month, while those with even numbers (0, 2, 4, 6, 8) must refrain from circulating on the second and fourth Saturday of each month, from 5 in the morning to 10 at night. Vehicles with a hologram 2 are prohibited from circulating on Saturdays during the same hours mentioned above. Vehicles with holograms 0 or 00 have no circulation restrictions.

In the State of Mexico, the same traffic regulations that apply in Mexico City are in effect for this day. The Hoy No Circula program is implemented throughout Mexico City and the State of Mexico, with its execution being the responsibility of the Ministry of the Environment (Sedema) of the Mexican capital.
