The main focus at the moment is on the event taking place today. So far, there is no concrete information regarding negotiations with the federal government or the City of Mexico for the continuation of the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Mexico.

This Sunday, during the last day of activities at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez, the official poster was unveiled commemorating the 10 years since the return of Formula 1 to Mexico. The poster highlights the characteristic speed of the category and the time that has passed since this competition resumed in the country under the direction of CIE in 2015.

In a statement, it is mentioned: "It has been 10 years of F1FIESTA among skulls, champion crowning, mariachis, great overtakes, tacos al pastor, DJs, single-seaters, and drivers." One of the special features of this poster is that it offers an immersive experience through augmented reality that can be enjoyed via filters on social media platforms like Instagram.

Ticket sales for the Mexico Grand Prix 2025 will begin in a couple of weeks, according to Rodrigo Sánchez, Chief Marketing Officer of the Mexico GP, following the presentation of the commemorative poster. When asked about the renewal of the Mexico Grand Prix contract with Formula 1, the executive mentioned that they are in talks with the authorities, without providing further details on possible negotiations with the government of Mayor Claudia Sheinbaum or with the Head of Government of Mexico City, Clara Brugada.

"All the pieces need to align, but we are still discussing and seeing what can be done. We still have another year left on the contract," said Rodrigo Sánchez regarding the possible renewal of the Mexico Grand Prix. Regarding the conversations with the Mexico City government, he mentioned that they are in discussions and evaluating what measures to take.
