At the Mexican Grand Prix, after Carlos Sainz's victory, Los Ángeles Azules surprised everyone by taking the Formula 1 podium stage and energizing the party. This gesture contrasted with previous editions where DJs like Martin Garrix had entertained the race. The cumbia band, born in Iztapalapa, offered a concert full of energy and excitement after some fans' disappointment with Sergio ‘Checo’ Pérez's performance on the track.

During their performance, Los Ángeles Azules played hits like "How Am I Going to Forget You," "The Ribbon of Your Hair," and "My Feelings," infecting the audience with their characteristic rhythm. They also featured collaboration with Nicki Nicole, who joined the show with her voice on the song "Another Night." The participation of the renowned Argentine singer added a special touch to the closing day of the Mexican Grand Prix, thus concluding three intense days of competition.

Los Ángeles Azules, with over 50 years of experience, represent one of the most iconic cumbia bands. Coming from the San Lucas neighborhood of Iztapalapa, the Avante brothers began their musical career in the 70s, thanks to the support of their mother, Martha. After some initial obstacles, like selling their father's car to buy instruments, they released their album "Rhythm... Joy... Flavor!" in 1982, consolidating their success and popularity.

The creativity of Los Ángeles Azules has led them to collaborate with various renowned artists such as Belinda, Cazzu, Guaynaa, Julieta Venegas, among others. They have also participated in prestigious festivals like Coachella and will soon perform at Vive Latino. Their participation in the Mexican Grand Prix marked a milestone by offering a unique musical spectacle at this sporting event, captivating over 154,000 people present at the Hermanos Rodríguez racetrack.
