This Thursday of the pay period in Mexico City, the Metro is experiencing delays on at least 4 of its 12 lines. The influx is high and at maximum capacity, which has generated service problems since the early hours of the day. Users are advised to anticipate their departure and take precautions.
On line B, heading to Buenavista, the trains stop at each station, causing them to reach their maximum capacity. Users have expressed their dissatisfaction with this situation, asking for the trains' progress to be expedited to avoid crowding.
On the other hand, on line A, which connects Pantitlán to La Paz, delays of over 6 minutes have been reported, according to testimonies from passengers who have shared photos and videos on social media. This delay has caused discomfort among users, who are hoping for a prompt solution from the Metro.
As for other lines, problems have been noted on line 3 heading to Indios Verdes and on line 1 from Observatorio to Pantitlán. Delays have affected various stations, such as Miguel Ángel Quevedo, Copilco, and Coyoacán, generating discontent among passengers.
The Collective Transport System (STC) Metro has reported that measures are being taken to regularize the service on each of the affected lines. Users are recommended to allow for the free closing of doors and to exit the car before entering, to facilitate passenger flow and improve system operability.
