Cultural Exhibition in Mexico City

The Culture Commission of Coparmex Ciudad de México has inaugurated its activities with the exhibition "On Stone and Paper: Five Years of Good Printing." This exhibition, presented at Sin Galería, offers a carefully curated selection of lithographs that reflect the depth and artistic quality that has characterized La Buena Impresión throughout its history.

The project showcases five years of work from this Oaxacan workshop dedicated to training and producing artists. La Buena Impresión, recognized for its focus on artistic education for young people in vulnerable situations, has been fundamental in discovering new talents in the field of lithography.

Coparmex Ciudad de México, under the leadership of Adal Ortiz Ávalos, seeks to bring the Oaxacan cultural scene closer to the Mexican capital through works by outstanding artists, printers, and students from that state. The initiative aims to make visible the work of Oaxacan engravers and artists and promote collaboration among different entities.

Sergio Bueno Saldívar, president of the Culture Commission of Coparmex CDMX, has emphasized the importance of this event by stating: "It is about giving voice to all those engravers and artists working in Oaxaca." He also highlighted that the collaborative work that defines La Buena Impresión reflects the values of this organization, where cooperation and joint effort are fundamental to driving cultural projects.

In this context, the Culture Commission of Coparmex Ciudad de México aims to strengthen the community's connection with art and culture, with the goal of fostering interest and participation in these fields.
